- UPDATES : Animax has confirmed that Final Stage will be available on its subscription-based VOD (Video On Demand) service starting May 16th, 2014. It will continue where Fifth Stage left off. Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji. [confirmed]
- UPDATES : Avex has confirmed that the New Initial D The Movie will be a trilogy. First part of the trilogy is called Legend 1 -Awakening- slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014 (Japan Only) [confirmed]

Well, w/ Saori, Itsuki royally screwed up. Anyone can see that. I mean: reading that love manual and going too fast for the kiss, that was stupid. It could've been salvaged, but the dumbass had to put his and her life in danger by accepting that impromptu race w/ Shingo. That's what we can all call moronic. Now with Kazumi(Wataru's sister), he was a bit smarter. He played it a bit slower and he almost had it. Problem was, though, that he played it too slow and ended up losing her, tsk tsk tsk. Now that was sad. *Spoiler for those who haven't read the manga or that Project D summary that's been bouncing around these forums: After Project D's race w/ the NW Saitama Alliance, Itsuki gets another chance w/ Kazumi. They start seeing each other for a bit and Itsuki even gets his chance to kiss her(Sleeping Beauty style, so that's kinda lame). After awhile, Kazumi's ex comes into the picture and after some heated arguing, she goes w/ her ex and dumps Itsuki for good. So sad, so sad. Doesn't say much about Iketani though.  |

Well that is somewhat true. The thing is, however, if you disregard the Extra Stage OAV/OVA(whichever acronym it is), then Iketani could still have a chance w/ Mako if he dummied up and called her. Itsuki had his chances and they all ended in complete and utter failure, especially w/ Kazumi. | ||
